I am Nikolina Tepavac Ivanova and I am the founder and CEO of Glam Sophisticated Academy in Las Vegas. With a degree in cosmetology and 8 years of working with clients and customers, I was recognized as one of the Top 30 Makeup Artists in Las Vegas.
But before all this, things looked a bit different. I moved to the States from East Europe exactly 10 years ago, and I was an immigrant for 4 years, before receiving my green card in 2017. I always had passion for makeup, but did not really know where to start. So I decided to go to cosmetology school as they promissed they will teach me makeup.
I spent 14k cash on a school that not only did not teach me makeup, but they did not teach me how to run my own business, how to get clients, how to take payments, how to draft contracts. The reason for that is because instructors in cosmetology school never really ran a business. They only teach basic skills.
So I decided to start investing into coaches, mentors and other celebrity makeup artists and learn from them, like Makeup by Mario or Tamanna Roashan, where I literally sent 10s of thousands of dollars. This is when I realized that the power in success lays in learning from someone who has already done it, someone who has been trhrough it all and now can help you save time and money trying to figure it out.After getting success in my freelance makeup busienss, and after working with hundreds of clients who traveled from all over the world to Vegas, I decided it was time to teach my blueprint of how I got success in the freelance makeup world, so other aspiring makeup artists can literaly do the same.
